WHAT IS ALL-ON-4?
All-on-4 is a technique that replaces a full arch of missing or failing teeth using as few as four strategically placed implants to secure a fixed, non-removable bridge. It’s permanent. It stays in your mouth and feels like your own natural, healthy teeth. The bridge is custom shaped to your face and smile. All-on-4 is also known as full mouth implants, full arch implants, or permanent bridges, and in many cases we can fit a full new set of fixed teeth in a single day, whether you need one arch or both.
How long do implants last?
Dental implants typically last 5 to 15+ years, with many lasting decades when properly cared for. All-on-4 restorations offer stability and comfort far beyond regular dentures.
How long does treatment take?
Implant treatment is a three phase process that varies by case. Single tooth implants typically take 3 to 6 months from placement to final restoration. All-on-4, for a single arch or both arches, can be faster. In many cases, we fit a full set of fixed teeth on the same day as implant placement.
What is a fixed Full Arch Implant Bridge?
Full arch implant bridges are a stable, long-lasting way to replace a full arch of missing teeth. This is a type of restoration using 4-6 implants to secure a fixed full arch bridge. This means it’s in your mouth permanently and doesn’t ever come out. It pretty much feels like your own teeth would have when they were whole and healthy. With regards to cosmetics, the arch can be defined to your liking as the contours are built bespoke to your mouth. This treatment is also referred to as full mouth implants, all-on-four, or permanent bridges.
How long do they last?
Full arch implants last a long time. The typical length of time is 5 to 15 years, though some last for decades. Their stability and comfort go far beyond regular dentures.
How long does it take ?
The Dental Implant process is basically a three phase process, which can be different for each person. Typically the entire process takes from 5 to 8 months. As you will see, this is a little different for people getting full mouth dentures. The process can be faster for those getting a whole new set of teeth!
