Jack Hesketh Godfrey BDS, LDS, RCS (Eng)

Jack founded the practice in 1968 together with his wife Susan. He qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1966 and then spent some time in both clinical and teaching posts. His uncompromising commitment to personalised care in a family based environment has seen the practice acquire a reputation for high quality dentistry in a relaxed atmosphere.

Jack enjoys all aspects of dentistry but gets particular satisfaction from Prosthodontics which involves denture construction, crowns and bridges. Further, he has a special interest in Endodontics.

Outside work Jack enjoys shooting and studying all religions. After 39 years, Jack has decided to hand over the running of the practice to Wasim and Samira, leaving him time to concentrate on his clinical dentistry and to pursue his other interests.

Wasim Fazel BDS MFGDP RCS (Eng)

Wasim graduated from the University of Manchester in 2001. After completing his Vocational Training in Leicester, he took up a post as an associate in general practice. He continued his postgraduate education and subsequently achieved the MFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003.

Wasim is passionate about cosmetic dentistry with a wealth of experience in smile designs and makeovers. He uses a variety of modern techniques including veneers, implantology, tooth whitening and Invisalign. Wasim also enjoys teaching and regularly tutors dentists in all aspects of cosmetic dentisty. In addition, putting anxious patients at ease is an important priority for Wasim and to this end, he provides intravenous sedation for those who request it.

Away from dentistry, Wasim is an avid sports fan, playing football, cricket, snooker and scuba diving. He has travelled extensively having visited destinations in the Far East, Africa and America.

Samira Fazel BDS MFGDP RCS (Eng)

Samira graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2001. Since then she worked as a full time dentist in a family based practice in the East Midlands and later in Hertfordshire. During this time she has gained a particular interest in treating children and looking after the elderly and is a strong believer in a preventative approach to dentistry. This had led her to further gain her postgraduate MFGDP diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004.

Samira’s specialist dental interests including oral surgery, implant placements and facial aesthetic treatments including Botox and dermal fillers. She also provides acupuncture as a means of analgesia for anxious patients.

In her spare time Samira enjoys skiing and has sky dived and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro for charity. She also regularly volunteers for oral cancer screening in the community.

Ralph Raine BDS

Ralph qualified as a dentist at the Royal London Hospital in 1977 and spent several years abroad in private practice before joining the practice in 1996. He continues his professional development by regularly attending course both in the UK and abroad and maintains a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry.

He is a keen sportsman and is currently studying for a diploma in Cosmology and Planetary Sciences. He is married with three children and speaks fluent Hebrew.
