Why I chose Invisalign?
So I’m a dentist who doesn’t like my own teeth! I did the whole train track thing when I was younger, I don’t have a problem with my teeth as such, they look fine but they have a very slight overlap that has always bothered me and wanted to get something done about that.
After years of trying to sort my teeth out with other removable appliances I’ve decided to have Invisalign.
The bonus is that I’m Invisalign accredited myself and after having done the training, it’s helped me to understand how exactly the system works and how much research has actually gone into making the system so advanced so that we can see the amazing results that it produces on our patients and now me!
I am definitely excited, and really want to make this work for me and so I’m committing to this. I’m sure that I will be a happy bunny with my improved smile.
First Step-
Impressions and photos– Easy as can be! All I have to do is smile and I love smiling. Wasim my principle dentist, who is also an experienced Invisalign accredited dentist took some moulds or impressions of my upper and lower teeth. And Kelly his assistant took a complete set of photos of my face and my teeth. This is going to help Invisalign understand my smile in relation to my face and how my teeth need to move to give me ‘my’ perfect smile.
It takes 2-3 weeks for my Clincheck to arrive. This is a 3-D imaging of how my teeth will look like at the end and also gives me an idea of how long my treatment will last. I’m hoping soon!
